Antique chai pot small
The wonderful original Antique chai pot small is perfect for a little houseplant or potted herb plant.
Please expect chips and imperfections accross the surfaces and neck as this is an antique item which would have been in constant use in a fire. Because these pots are antique, each pot is totally unique meaning your item may vary slightly and colour and size.
These lovely pots have a rounded bottom but stands beautifully upright once placed on a level surface.
These wonderfully unique vessels have such a beautifully pleasing rotund shape they are very tactile and smooth to the touch.
Originally made to make and serve chai tea the rounded base allowed it to sit on top of a hot wood fire. Being suitable for sitting on a fire they are very robust and heat resistant.
The potter has beautifully balanced each pot so that it does not spill the contents when rested on the table or floor.
We love to add a small cordless rechargeable light to the base of our pots at home to create a wonderful uplight effect when placed on a shelf or mantle.
Each pot is unique in colour and patina - we will pick a pot for you from our collection at random, but rest assured each on is very beautiful and unique.
The image represents the range of colours to be expected from our stock but please expect vacation as this is an old item and not mass produced.

Parcel Delivery
We use Parcelforce to deliver our smaller items.
Courier Delivery – Furniture | bulky items | fragile items | heavy items
Delivery will take place via door-to-door courier an item is too large and heavy, long or fragile to be delivered in a parcel by any of the UK parcel providers.
This service is undertaken by a one-man delivery service.
Please be prepared to help to move the item from the van or lorry to just inside your door. When delivery takes place, it will be to just inside the threshold of your home only.
The courier will not be able to carry the furniture up or down steps to access your property.
You will need to supply a strong helper to assist on the day of delivery.
After the courier has left, you will need to remove the item from its packaging when present and carry it from your doorway into your home or garden.
Some items such as our dining tables flat packed for self-assembly. Many items of furniture require an element of self-assembly.
Delivery is added at the checkout - you will be able to view this charge before you pay.
Website orders for Scotland, Ireland, and
offshore Islands
Special quotation for deliveries is required for the following areas: Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, and Islands as well as all other offshore UK islands.

We will need your full delivery address and postcode, and a full and complete summary of your shopping basket to enable us to provide you with a quotation.
International delivery
We are sorry we do not offer international delivery however we are happy to work with the shippers of our international clients.
Collection of your order from Home Barn.
All our stock is listed online and available for nationwide delivery.
We welcome collection of your orders from our shop in Marlow Buckinghamshire, however, please note that we do not allow customer or their couriers to collect bulky items, heavy items or furniture items from Home Barn.
Not all of our beautiful stock is available in store, so please contact us before travelling to collect an item.
Collection of orders must be undertaken during standard opening hours.
Items must be collected within 10 days of ordering.
