Industrial Medical Glass Apothecary Single Cabinet
This 1930’s glazed medical cabinet is made from enamelled heavy duty steel with toughended glass windows and shelves. It’s origins are European and we believe this cabinet originates from Eastern Europe. It would have been used in a medical dispensary to keep drugs and medical equipment safely under lock and key.
Now sought after as kitchen display units and as retail display units. Or use in the bedroom for folded linens / clothes to follow the new trend for transparent bedroom storage. Perfect for the industrial themed bathroom or office.
There are two internal glass shelves but dozens fittings are located inside the cabinet if you decided to add more shelves either more glass ones or wooden. Ample concealed storage below in the lockable base.
In good vintage condition with signs of wear and tear this piece is in original condition and has working lock and key. The original creamy white paintwork has a few small nicks and scuffs but the overall appearance is good (please refer to pictures for further details).
This cabinet is very heavy and will require a very strong person to assist with unloading at kerbside. Our couriers have only one man on board.
We also have double door version of this cabinet available.
